KD Troupe Audition 9 Years & Under

This is an exciting opportunity for young dancers to gain valuable training, exposure in dance through performances and competitions and chance to be part of a team!

What to expect during the Audition?

Students will work on a series of general techniques exercises followed by a short choreography at the end.

They will be assessed on:

• Ability to pick up choreography fast
• Execution of dance techniques (Strength, Flexibility and Stamina)
• Performance Quality and Style
• Dance Ethics (Learning Attitude and Teamwork)

What to expect after the audition?

• Successful candidates will be informed via Email within a week after the audtions.
• Performance Troupe training will begin in December 2020.
• All Troupe members must be enrolled in at least 2 genres of dance classes with Kavanagh Dance in 2021.
• Time commitment required (compulsory troupe weekly classes, rehearsals, performances and competition)
• Additional cost involved (nominal class fee, competition fee, costume etc.)
